Nike Releases the Air Zoom Type With Bold “Volt” Uppers
A lively iteration into its arsenal is welcomed by the Swoosh N 354 sublabel.
A few recent concepts, particularly new silhouettes, were proactively lowered in the experimental division Air Force 1 and the iconic offline sandal of Nike. And now Swoosh’s Air Zoom takes the form of an almost blinding colorful Volt that sheds light on its new lifestyle.
Also, the silhouette, with its latest playful button-down overlays, changes gears for a louder theme here. A low-profile eye-catcher, sport-filled, with a fully-button top covered in a vibrant volt, next to strong dark accents that curve over the Swoosh, sockets, tongue and heel tabs, and garlic overlays.
The high-color block of the double-packed central units in the colorless chunky outdoor layer displays a colorless unit in the front foot that is tinted to match the upper one. The design is all-black under the wafer outsole.
