Like The Garçons PLAY, the partnership of the brand illustrates the long and continuous history of Converse’s collaboration. Dominant in fashion conversations, their range of Red Heart-Trapping Chuck Taylors is a whimsical but luxurious classic for many years. The line-up continues with CDG, updating its heart graphics hues and displaying on canvas two new Converse model colors.
The Converse Chuck 70, available as a high and low top, remains the model of choice. The “Blue Quartz” and “Steel Grey” variants, apart from the classic black and cream versions, now provide these styles. The black hearts now have the same big eyes as the red hearts. As shown by previous CDG converts, these characters look from above the middle floor edge. After more than a decade, the Japanese fashion house revisited the Jack Purcell, and these versions were on display for more than two months.
