Since Tom Sachs joined Nike on the now-renowned Mars Yard, the “Maple” and “Sport Red” pair were a favorite among fans. Sensibly, many of the succeeding Swoosh releases have inspired this, which is no exception to this Dunk High Rebel.
The overlays give a somewhat identical feel, in look and texture, that virtually appear exactly as above. But underneath, shades of shining yellow look from the outside, and the overall inspiration is slightly subverted. Furthermore, the Swoosh is altered as it opts for “Rush Maroon” instead of a true red one. The base of the rubber is otherwise underfoot while the rest of the top blanks are full of white leather.
Check the official photos of the Dunk High Rebel — or Dunk High Up, as some of the shops dubbed it. A release will certainly hit Nike.com and shortly choose shops.
